The 1990s had a lot of shows. Remember the “Party of Five” sitcom? The Salingers are composed of Bailey, Charlie, Julia, Claudia and Kirsten. This group proved to us that siblings could also be called a family, even without the presence of their parents, because they were orphaned at such a young age.
Everyone remembers “Malcolm in the Middle” on Sunday night TV after the Simpsons. This was a crazy bunch compiled of Hal, Lois, Reese, Francis, Dewey and Malcolm. Each character is fueled by a certain craziness and uniqueness.
Do you remember the phrase “Oh, Mr. Sheffield?” Yup, it was “The Nanny” show. To do this day, it remains one of the most popular shows in reruns. The Sheffield family consists of Maxwell Sheffield, Maggie, Brighton, Grace and even Niles .
These TV programs taught us values as we were growing up. In some ways, we all wanted to be part of these families. You can catch a lot of the reruns on cable.
