The former secret military base in Balaklava (Ukraine)
In the early fifties, Joseph Stalin personally examined and sighted his own construction project in the Balaklava Bay a unique underground plant to repair submarines.

The scale of this construction can be seen, for example by the fact that in the event of nuclear war in his underground haven could hide an entire brigade of submarines and several thousand people. Top-secret "object 825" could withstand a nuclear explosion of enormous power and included a dry dock, shop, command posts and the channel that allowed submarines, going into the plant from Balaklava bay, go directly to the open sea, not only on the surface, but submerged
