This year's major eruptions recorded on volcanoes Puyehue Chile, Shinmoedake Japan, Lokon Indonesia, Grímsvötn Iceland, Mount Etna in Italy, and recently Nyamulagira in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The flow of lava from a fissure eruption follows Kilauea, Hawaii.
